GERMAN RECCE TANK

Hi friends,
Got time to take pictures today outside...So here we go again....

The right side

1.jpg

The left side[bad pic.]and some cheap Dutch exportbeer[Mrs.Recons stash]

2.jpg

The wooden jackblock[is that correct Enghlish?]
Used vallejo paint for the wood, some light washes.
And again Humbrol Metalcoat 27003 for the metal.

3.jpg

Someone didn't clean the shovel,...done with a pigment and coffeegrounds mixture.

4.jpg

Weathered frontside.
Still have to do some paintpatch up.
And yes still have to remove te piece of paper from the driversvissionblock...

5.jpg

More tools...done with...the same stuff as for the jackblock.
You know the drill by now,I guess.

6.jpg

Back side,..The dust/mud is going to be more dark[that's for later].
The cable will get darker also[later].
In real life the cable was fixed with straps on the round plate. My reccetankiecrew lost there straps.
Sometimes crews with experience hang there cables on the hooks on the back or frontside of the tank,to win some time if they had to be towed away in case of troubles.
[My crew are veterans!]

Another look at the weathered wheels, the camouflagepaint still a bit vissable...

8.jpg

And a heavy weathered enginedeck.

9.jpg

More to come....I am really not ready yet,
Have to tone down the bright metal colour on the sprockets and MANY other things...
Thanks for looking.............I will come back...:woohoo:

Greetings,Ron.
