Finally back in Action

Well I am finally back in action after the the move to the new place :yipee. Sarah and I went to Lowe's on Saturday and picked up a hollowcore door, four table legs, and some screw in brackets for the legs. Total cost for the desk was about 50 bucks. It gives a nice big workspace. Still thinking of picking up two legs for the middle section of the desk. This was actually Sarah's idea. She found it on Pinterest of all places. Half of it will be her work space and half mine. I am thinking of adding some pegboard to the back on the wall to hang tools and such. But hey it's a start. Also the stash is stowed away in the closet next to the desk.

If by "healthy" you mean obese :rotf We might eventually turn it into an L shaped desk by adding another door.

If my wife and I did that, it'd have to be a 30-70 sort of thing as I tend to spread out as I work ;)

That's why she wants to put some type of barrier down the middle of the desk. Kind of like the Berlin Wall I guess :rotf

Me and my wife both do modelling and we sit at the same table but facing eachother, that way she don't have to worry about me invading her space (but i sometimes use her clean space when mine is filled up with ongoing projects)

HEY where is all the good Star Trek stuff?

Guess I forgot to post the top shelf of the closet lol. I really don't have that much in the way of Star Trek stuff. Just the 4 kits that are in 1/2500 scale.

Well, that is the start of a nice stash...

I have been selling off some stuff but haven't seen a dent yet. I have a complete garage full. Only two modelers have seen it, OK, walked through it. Dr. Steinman and Jeeves.

Regards,

Looks good!

A door for a work bench, that's a novel idea!

I'm looking for something that could serve as a work bench for the new hobby room. Might have too check out the doors!

Nice stash too!

I am in the de-construction phase... selling off the stash, moving from a 3 bedroom 2 bath house to a 1/1 apartment, trying to sell off furniture... but everything has a time and a place...
