Every once in a while things fall into place just right. My wife and I were very lucky to stubble onto our slice of heaven. A home on 100 acre's at the base of lookout Mountain in Georgia. Now the dogs have a place to run!! It's a unique home and we sure have never had anything so nice before.

Wow! Nice digs, buddy! Glad to have you settled in and back here posting! (y)

100 acres! 'dem dogs are going to be wore out! Nice pool, they will enjoy that in the summer.

So you stake out a modeling cave?

Wow Tim,

What a nice place to call your home!
The green surroundings are way cool also.Your dogs will love it to run around unlimmited!
Looks like a place were you can take long hikes in the 'great outdoors'as well. :woohoo:

Greetings,Ron.

Very cool Tim , congrats !!!

Now all ya have to do is look for some Civil War relics on them 100 acres !!!

For those that are scratching thier heads wondering how two working stiff's could afford the tax's alone on a property like this rest assured we sure couldn't. Thats where being in the right place and knowing the right people comes in. The location is secluded and the owner wanted someone "up there" to take care of it so after some price talk an agreement was made and we signed the lease.

I do have a room for modeling...YEAH!... it was assigned to me by the Mrs. haha...

Yep James, anyone coming over this way is welcome to visit (y)

Here's some more random pics. The home is huge! The gray building is the garage/shop.

Thats an idea! But you know his wife would kill him if he dug up that yard- now you have the best reason possible for buying that 18 hp John Deere to mow that yard. Tim Allen would understand...

Not sure what a metal detector would detect out here. A close friend of mine who happens to be best buds with the owner was key in us getting the place has also lived in a awesome cabin here for years. He has a nice collection of antique firearms and fires them often out here so I might find alot of lead :) There is a cemetery on the place that has dates to the 1700's. Also the owner said we would have to check out the old Durham railbed that ran through here from lookout Mountain to Chickamauga. It delivered coal to the coke ovens there.

Trash piles- thats what you look for. Bound to be an old junk pile out in those woods. Thats where you could find some nice stuff. Good luck.

That is beautiful. You really got lucky there. Aimee and I will be looking for a place to call our home next year. Maintaining 2 houses just drains to much funding. We are hoping to find a 6 car garage with 3 BR and attached cave :D .

Thanks all for the nice words. When things settle down we'll be exploring the property more. Joe, I could be happy with a six car garage (y)
