Hello all. Finished this model earlier this year for a local IPMS contest (IPMS Winnipeg). Prior to that it sat nearly complete for about two years. I seem to have been in a bit of a modeling funk since I moved. I'm very slowly getting my mojo back though.
Tamiya 1/48 kit with some Eduard etch. Alclad paints for the NMF. Sad to say it was meant to be a quickie experimental painting project after a longer tank build. Yeah, we know how well THAT plan worked out. Sheesh.
Any-hoo here is the finished jug.
My local IPMS chapter is a proud but relatively small club. Even so they did an outstanding job designing the medals given away at the contest earlier this year. Our club is also known as the Valour Road Chapter. Valour Road is a very special street here in Winnipeg, Canada. During the First World War three men who had lived on that very street were all awarded the Victoria Cross.
As you can see the medal incorporates the chapter name with the image of the Victoria Cross. My lil Jug managed to score a gold
If you would like to see how she came together here is a link to the full blog I posted over at Aeroscale.com.
