I'm falling behind, at least I have stayed on subject. So I'll take this as a small win since I really really can't stay on subject for more than a week.

Filled the gap on the turret and mallet with Green Stuff.

Made the missing cover on the commanders cupula with Green Stuff

Made a plug for the removed gas cap on M48A3's from sheet styrene

Ordered some 3D print US jerry cans, but think I got German, they are nice.

Worked on the track that will be on the turret and the kit search light I glued the track links on .010X250 styrene strip for more thickness.

So I'm still slow walking

I planned on using the resin search light as it would save me some time. It's not bad but looks a little to big as does the kit version.

I'm going to mess with the kit one. Not going all out on this light, I think it looks long to me.

I cut some off the front, then covered the front with .010 sheet styrene.

I filed down the light some all the way around I may have taken a 1/32 or 1/16 off it.

I cut a strip of .010 styrene and wrapped it around the front of the light.

On the spare track I used slices of C channel styrene to make guide teeth for the spare track. I found some expanded metal to use in the turret basket.

On the back of the search light I removed the molded in bars and added some from styrene rod

On the turret I brush painted some Vallejo panzer grey primer under where the spare track hangs and did the same for the side of the track that faces the turret

That's awesome! It looked like the Blackdog kit included the M-48 turret as a resin assembly. An optical illusion then?

I was planning on using the resin turret, but not happy with it. I'll compare the two when I get the sand bags on.

Alright my last post on this thread. Well I didn't finish, but had lots of fun. I will continue on a new thread in the master page. When I decided to not use the resin turret I knew I was cooked for finishing on time. A decision I do not regret.

The last could things I got done before the deadline, I cut the commanders hatch off the copula, then did some fancy texturing. I also bent up the fenders some.

You and me both! Here am I building multiple small scale kits in less than a month and yet I can never finish a MMM build! What's up with that?
