'ello !

I'm from Richmond, V.A., U.S.A. I've been modeling most of my life. I started out with cars & such , till that fateful day when I walked into my Local Hobby Shop & saw Tamiya's T-62. I had recently seen the movie Red Dawn & wanted to build a Russian Tank. It was on from there. Although I gravitated toward the "Dark Side " by building Tamiya's Panther D way back in the early 80's. I was able to build a few of their Kits til I got into High School & other things took president.

Fast Forward to early 2000. I got the Bug & found out where My old Hobby Shop relocated to. I picked up Dragon's KugelBlitz ,knowing nothing about Dragon's early stuff ! :angry: & I noticed some funky brass stuff on a fret. ! I've refined & got back into th swing of things ! I'm a Member of AMPS - http://www.amps-armor.org/ampssite/default.aspx & the local chapter AMPSCV ! I'm also on the Review Crew & post periodically on Our site Reivews of all types relating to Our Beloved Hobby of Armor Building !

I build German Armor , figures & build Dioramas. I believe that this IS Truly the Golden Age of Model Building. SO much has Advanced as far as Research, After Market , painting techniques ... & Web Sites !!! WOW !

Hello mate, welcome to the party !

I got back into modelling about 5 years ago and the changes in technology and quality are massive ! That funky brass stuff is great fun, until it develops rocket propulsion and flies from the tweezers!
