Eduard translucent decals

I love some of Eduard's new kit but their decals are garbage. Everyone rants and raves how thin they and are the decal film is easily removed( yea right)

Working on their new Camel kit and look at this crap. Too translucent and you would have to paint a white backing to make the color stand out.

This is ridiculous if you ask me. Can't say anything on their FB our you will be burned at the stake by extreme fanboys

I'm not shocked about Eduards. What I am shocked about is that bottle of Champ's decal solution you got! Last time I opened mine it had one funky smell to it, think it's fermented.

If you complain the response will be like what I got, yeah, we know.

Agreed! I think it is one of the BEST decal solutions. In any case, I don't have any of the new decals to have an opinion. They came out with the P-51D releases but I have only bought the Overtrees. I have ordered a Weekend Mustang kit so, perhaps they include it and I can share my experience with them.

Ugh... Thankfully, there are AM decals. You're right it is disappointing to have sub-par decals in a pricy kit. I guess they really want you to paint the markings.

Champs is definitely some good stuff. I really did not want to mess with my cameo on this smaller stuff, but I guess I have no choice.

Contacted Eduard about the declas and they are sending me a replacement set. Said the white backing did not get applied correctly.

Eduard does have great customer support. I have gotten many replacement things from them without arguments.

I bought an SE-5 kit awhile back that had no decals, they replaced them without a fuss, in fact they sent 2 sets!
