Eduard 1/72 B-25

Excellent finish Al. I'd say your weathering is spot on. Lot of stuff up top of the wings, wasn't must exhaust but guys walking around up there. Aircraft are not clean except in museums. Great fix also, the part looks spot on. Well done sir!!

Thanks! I agree that generally exhaust doesn't get on top of the wings, but it seems the B-25J is an exception, because of the exhaust stacks spaced all around the cowling.

What I'm missing, though, is that exhaust stains on allied aircraft usually had a streak of light grey. I think this was due to our higher-grade avgas. That's something I'll have to experiment on and practice.

Ja, the B-25D, G and H had the same simplified exhaust arrangement. Dry pigments and a stiff brush, maybe?
Before the D, there was the single exhaust. During D production, it was swapped. Our own @jeaton01, explained it on FSM over 13 years ago:

Dang, I didn't read that this was 1:72 scale. I thought I was looking at a 1:48 model. Very well done Al! :vgood:
Thanks! I plan to do multi-engines in 1/72 and fighters in 1/48. It's a matter of workbench and shelf space more than anything else.

Not sure in what scale I'm going to do a P-38 🤔.
