Now taking its place on the workbench. I'll be building this in the markings of "Swede" Svetesja, USS Enterprise.

The cockpit is nicely detailed and being a ProfiPack, there's some photoetch to add.

One thing I need to be careful of is that the runners are pretty thick and sometimes connect to small parts. I've been using a razor saw to gently cut away the smaller parts.

Does anybody else do this? Because my computer desk is next to my modeling bench, I scan in the instructions so I'm not fussing with the hard copy and it's easy to zoom in. And yes, that's the Dauntless instructions on the right side. 😉

I have an old laptop in the shed but I rarely use it, if I were to setup a monitor out there I'd have to move some of my clutter! :frantic:

Good start Al, you're going to share the Dauntless also right? :bat

I have a notebook on my bench that I use to show reference photos for when I scratch build details. Then I also use it for our Google meets like this Saturday.
