Dragon M4A1 75mm USMC

Put the clear on, it did darken up some. I'm going to let it sit a couple of nights. Then come back with some washes.

Funny how a clear coat can have that effect. Guess it has to do with light reflection and that sort of stuff. This is going to turn out great I know.

Thanks MP!

I find it kinds funny how much darker the base becomes with the clear. :hmmm

Did a some washes on it over the last week. First two were with oils and I just was not getting the look I wanted. I then used some water color paint. I kinda got the look I'm after. From the color pictures I have found of USMC armor, most seem to have a gray or even a white dust on them. Giving a stark contrast with the green. I went a head and did some dry brushing. The only problems with using the water color is it does not flow nearly as good as oil, and it dries FAST. In places it worked great and in others not so good. The problem areas just need some good dry brushing I believe and it should look okay. So here is where it is as of this morning.
