Man, I hope they caught those shells, those things falling from 20,000 feet would kill someone!
 
Never mind the shell casings MP I shudder to think of the damage that 50mm exploding cannon shell would have done to a heavy - thank goodness it jammed each time that aircraft went into action.

Well here is the update on how this one is going, mottles, I'm really starting to hate them!
This is round five, and that's how this will stay there isn't going to be a sixth time.

looks good Phil. ... this nose ... I always found this nose on a 262 a little irritating - looking forward for more

here's a little more I did tonight, started doing the simulated putty on the nose and started giving it the rubbed in look, will finish that next

Phil after looking at it again I think that putty looks good as is. I wouldn't do a thing more to it. (y)
