Dora 1/35

Bod, the final measurements of the dio are:
6 foot 6 inches long
18 inches wide
24 inches hight

its a monster
still debating with the wife its finall location :LOL:

starting to post soon on the builds
Yeah, I can see the "War Dept" being quite involved with the location. Even though I have not had to deal with that in 20+ years, I have been quite reserved about building some of my larger kits. Will probably work on a display "box" before doing any large plane builds and might be back in Oklahoma before attacking any large builds. In that case I will probably obtain the help of my son in law to build a large case that could hold several of the larger builds. (B-17, PBY, B-24) Until then, I have plenty of smaller builds to keep me occupied.

Paul, I still have several big kits on the stach, Leopold, Morser with transport wagons, 1/35 U-boat, dragon wagon, Br-52 plus to mention some and more than 100 regular kits and already running out of space

This is what I did to move the kit while working on it, I used the base of a 6 foot plastic table that had become brittle, removed the damaged top and bolted the frame to the Dora base, then added casters to the legs so I can easely move the hole thing around. not sure if Im going to leave it like that or find a spot on a wall to display it out of the way (but already running out of walls). lets see how it ends 🤔😬😆
