Excellent!
Most excellent!
Outstanding!!
The PE on these ships can really add so much depth to the build. If it doesn't drive you crazy first.
Excellent job Laurence! Looking forward to some more.

Great work Laurence!
Lots of fiddly bits but you are moving forward , that's the main thing. We all get bogged down with the daily grind so just relax and let it progress as you are ready. Don't get to concerned with the hull painting....like I mentioned to you earlier, the paint job on something this large, immersed in hardcore weather conditions and salt water will not be a perfect one.
Treat the hull like a really large German tank and just scale down the effect. I recommend a base coat in acrylics with a patchy airbrushed over-spray in a variety of greys and finished with grey oil paints using a medium flat brush with hardly any paint to simulate the top layer of hand painting and deterioration.
Contrast shading with darker streaks using oils or pigments from the top down would also add to the effects, but keep them light and scattered.

It can double as a coffee table.
