I saw your comment in the "On the Bench" thread, did you serve with 4 Wing?
I know the pain all too well. It's been 20 years since we lost a bird along w/ half her crew (pilot lost at sea, ECMO1 severely injured during ejection, succumbed to injuries onboard the HH-60 enroute back to the carrier)...I still think about LT Francis & LCDR Dee at least a handful of times a year. While I didn't deal face to face with either of them much, we were still a brother/sisterhood and family that relied and leaned on each other everyday.
