Camouflage on German field guns

I'm finally going to build my 1/35 sfh 18 howitzer. I want to paint it as it would have been durning the Ardennes offensive. Would it have been dark yellow or gray and did the Germans white wash their field guns?

At that time is would be Dark Yellow,probably with cam. Guns could be white washed.
