Second Herk, dad flew with these guys in Vietnam. Wil lhave my aftermarket set that I mastered for Contrails resin.

Debating on a triple build, C-123. Here is a short (no audio) video my dad filmed with his 8mm camera.

Because they dropped flares at night, and that was their call sign. A Useful site of a friend of my dad.

Interesting, are you going to outsource the 3 bladed props that were used on the A model ? I spent more time than I care to remember in the nose wheel well wrestling the radar transmitter out of its mount and replacing the cooling fans for it (B-17 defroster fans)

Blind Bat!! :good: TOO COOL!! :ro: not an easy conversion to make from the H Model. sending you :zen
Wayne A. Warner was a Herk driver, His book "One Trip Too Many" tells a gripping story of his USAF career.
Easy read! (Do people still read books?)

Checked it out. Pretty cool website. This should be a cool build to see come together

I mastered a set that Contrail models sells (pewter or resin). http://www.contrailsmodels.com/

Right now the set is not up on the site since that is being reworked. Michael also has the aux tanks I mastered. Available in 1/48 and 1/72 scales.

Looking like a test of your skillset! :good: :ro:

I did NOT draw this. It TOO BIG!! That's an original from My buddy Frank's Nephew. I can't say his name, but I do know He's a USAF Man. The Electric Herks and the Blind Bats had different missions, but they are both early C-130's
