Is it just me or does one of the pictures of Ken make him look like the son of Shepard Paine ?
Looked like a great show with lots of quality biulds on show.
Personally, Id be a bit miffed with the use of some of my artwork without permission or even an acknowledgment,...poor judgement on their part, me thinks :smack

If you don't mind downloading a zip file of about 16 MB, here are 230 shots of the work on display at the show.
AMPS 2013 Was a great show with a lot of fine work on display as well as good stuff from the vendors.
I ended up letting go of some cash at Jon Vojtech's table as well...can't ever have too many tools!

As for meeting the guys, it was great. A real pleasure to finally talk face to face with a few of the famous people ( and even get an honest opinion. ) )

Well Ron, should that change I'm sure we could find something to eat and some cold ones . The beer might not be up to your standards though .
To be honest, I didn't want to go but I got to meet some good people including some Yankees from Redfrog hobbies ( from NY ). Refreshing to have conversation with people from up North.
I wish I had got a chance to see one of John's build up close and personal but as far as I know he only does airplanes.
Wouldn't you know it the tool I wanted to purchase from him was not on hand
I did however find several things I had been looking for such as Mrsurfacer and other products.
Even got to try a Grex airbrush but even with the great salesmanship I'm sticking to the Iwata products
All in all, many good builders but no one brought a single built airplane .

The reason I did not want to go was the lack of flying thingies plus the long trip ( again )
Joey, no point in taking my planes. Those guys probably have asked where the tracks went. They were even arguing about the LST ( I think that's correct )as the weapons of mass destruction were on board .

It was great to finally meet Moonie & Mike ! If I'd had a minute to think I'd fixed My hair ! :yipee for th shot !!
CHUK - WoW ! Ya know , as soon as I saw those cards I said to Myself ... Self ... Is CHUK W here .?.. I gotta meet 'em. Did some one get Him to make those cards ?.. 'cause if They did That sure was Cool of CHUK to take th time to do it .... but now .. to find out some one stole it !! WTF . I'd also be Livid ! That's straight up Theft ! ( note to th wise .... There are a few AMPS Big Wigs that lurk here , just so ya know) I'd have to Ball them out ! See down here in th South ... We call than Bull Sheet and worth th "Deliverance Punishment" ..... Do I hear Banjos playing .... BTW .. Awesome Artwork CHUK .... On a second note - Being from th AMPSCV group & since th AMPS 2014 show will be in Fredericksburg, V.A . .... Can We have permission to use these .. or better yet .. if you have th time , can you make a new set with Your signature beside th art work ? PM me CHUK . MOONIE - It was Great too meet you in person & I dig that southern drawl. Thanx for th kind words on th Opel ! I got a Silver Medal in th Vignette category for that. I also got a Silver for th Nacht-Jager 120mm figure( it's th one I did for th Andy's Figure GB). My Elephant - th one in th picture montage scored a Silver too.
MIKE - It was Great to meet ya Brotha' & PhantomII ! Really cool to put faces with th names !! I just wish you guys could've stayed a bit longer. I got out of My judging shift came back over to th AK table ( which BTW I wasn't working for them, I just poped in there to gab with KEN & SCOTT & got caught by th M.A. paparazzi ! ) and KEN told Me that I had just missed You Guys ! :pinch:
I too spent a Kings ransom with th Vendors & 1/2 of My budget went towards th NEW TMD Berge Panther conversion kit. ( look for an out of Box review) - It's a Hefty Conversion with literally 100's of parts. An Awesome set ! Th best on th Market. I gave CRM Hobbies a lot of $$ with purchases of th new 1/16th scale Alpine Miniatures German M.G. crewman, some other 1/35th scale Alpine German figgies, & a few Painting Stencils & P.E. set from Alliance Modelwerks,a Razor Saw & Hex punch from UMM , Some Armor Farm stuffs, I dropped Woody from Archer some $$ too on a few decal sets.
