AMC DH2-"WINGS ARE WIRED"

Ok I'm bumping this one back to the top and going back to work.

Terry

Nothing like flying into combat in a string bag kite with a fuel tank sitting on top of it.

Looking good Terry :popcorn

I'll be watching this with interest.

Although I'm getting the shakes just looking at the rigging. :blink

Not to hi-jack Mings' thread too far, but I recall overhearing a 'huddle' of IPMS(UK) judges at the Nationals some years back, not discussing the model per-se, but trying to decide whether it was correct to use the word 'rigging' or 'bracing'....

Apparently, the correct word is bracing, but the guy who's responsible for keeping it all in good working order is called a 'rigger'.

:facepalm

Great project, sir. So far outside my comfort zone, so I'll just sit here quietly and watch.

Ian.

I heard a judge once asking if a DVII Fokker is suppose to have all that rigging in the wings. I told him not and asked why he was judging. :smack

Well what ever you call them they's a lot of them.

Thanks for watching.
