Oh about 7-8 years ago I bought some AKAN acrylics and most of them haven't been opened yet so I figured it was time to dig out the ones I wanted and play around a bit. First thing the stuff was like tar in the bottom of the bottle once I opened it up. What to do........the first time I tried using this paint, and trying to figure out what the best thinner to use, I ended up going with Tamiya's X20A, which really wasn't giving me the results I wanted. And now that I needed to try to wake it up and had nothing to lose, after another internet search I settled on distilled water to add to it. This worked very well on thinning it in the bottle. Ya, way better results 
Not even trying to do a decent freehand and I'm quit pleased with what I can do with the stuff 
And under a coat of MM SemiGloss
Won't discuss the missing fiddly bit that didn't go in before things got closed up
But otherwise quite happy how this is coming together

That paint looks good Tim, where did you get it?

You can get them from Linden Hill Imports, Akan Makes both Acrylic and Lacquer based paints. From what I understand the Lacquer paints are similar to Tamiya/Gunze and thin well with Mr.Leveling thinner, anyone I'm aware of who has commented on them seems to like those ones. The acrylics are good as they thin well with water, as I now know, and cleaned up easily with alcohol.

No, Luiz. It is the Cyber Hobby 32 110 E-2 Tropical but you can do everything from a C to an E with this kit.
