Ian.

That's a beauty Ian!

Started up the Hobby Boss Schneider the other day and just tried assembling their included tracks and I'm pretty sure I don't hate myself that much. Any ideas of what's out there for replacements?

Been plugging away on this one. 1/72 special hobby BV 211 which someone had badly assembled and slathered with putty before it landed on my bench. Was going along decently until I noticed the chap had glued the two top wing halves together and the two bottom halves together. One wing was much thicker than the other so I got out the 200 grit sand paper and got it as close as I could.

Rescribed the panel lines and I am happy with the result.

Now to make a new canopy as the original never came with it.

Now that I'm on summer break I've got all kinds of projects going....nearly finished with the FT-17...

Also started my Iraq war Meng builds...did the suspension and torsion for both the Abrams and Bradley as well as got a start on the Bradley engine.

And to keep the WWI fix going- I've started the Hobby Boss Schneider and stalled on assembling the stupid tracks...

Thanks Bob! Was the newer Airfix kit and I had a blast with it...helped counterbalance all the armor I have going ;)

No pics yet, maybe tomorrow but I have been working on the Trumpeter BMO-T and I am close to finished. I am very happy to report that I used the kit tracks and actually made the 2 runs. I did cheat though and did not make the top of the runs as that will be hidden behind skirts. This is what it is if anyone is interested. http://www.military-today.com/apc/bmo_t.htm
Might attempt scheme C but will probably go simple and do A.

Picking away at my Trumpeter BMO-T. Have the fenders, side skirts and sides dry fit to see what it will look like.
