All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Your work looks fantastic Paddy! Amazing job on that Corsair.

Paddy, Pup, I believe that they are essentially the same air frame. The Britannia has different engines if I recall correctly.

I.m sort of leaning towards spurious markings for this ....
I like the idea of faded blue and White but i also like the idea of a yellow cowling and some sort of tail marking, none of which seem to be an option for this model Corsair.

Hey, it's your model; build it how you like. Any way you do it; this will still be a magnificent masterpiece.

Been working on a little bit of everything...
Finished the A-Wing for the Galaxy build...I wanted to clean up the tower a bit but my son liked it this way- it's for him so it stays as is ;)

I'm working on a small diorama base for a Russian tank in 12/35 scale. I needed a wooden fence for the side of the road and so I decided to try building one from stir sticks. Here's what it looks like thuse far with step by step images that I think pretty well show the process.

I repeatedly scribed each stir stick so that I ended up with 4 lengths of material from weach stir stick. I then cut the pieces to various lengths and then laid out 4 long pieces for the fence rails and then I glues shorter various lengths of material to those rails. The image I used as as y inspiration was a screen grab from the Russian WW2 movie White Tiger andthe fence in that film had verical pieces of unequal widrths and lengths.

Here are the images of my fence. It will be allowed to cure overnight before I do anything else with it.

Cheers from Peter

Tank builder ... great looking fence ... if can drag your saw blade at a forty five angle on the wood to add grain pattern ... like your glue applier ... :popcorn (y)

Now on my bench ... still poking this ambulance along ...

Today I painted Firewall Black ... looking for a few wires .... oh the radiator fell off again ... :hmmm good time to detail the cores ...

Damn the AMS full speed ahead :woohoo: ... !!!

Nearly ready for some paint. builds always gets a bit messy about here because the instructions go out the window along with the order of assembly as you race ahead to get the main body painted but leave off all the detail parts like undercarriage etc. I managed to stand on the engine cowling and it exploded :)......luckily you get a spare clear cowling in the kit which once painted will be fine.

Here it's more...what's not on the bench today :D
Big cleanup of the hobbyroom, all modelboxes are now stored upstairs and just the ones we are busy with in the hobbyroom.
And some more shelves so it's starting to look good again, looking forward to sit down at a clean desk for the first in a long time without things falling as soon as I pick up something :bang head
Greetings
Mats

I feel your pain ... came down with something like that at the end of January ... only last about a week ... Praying for Healing ... :zen :zen :zen

James, get well soon. I know how frustrating that can be. I had a little progress on some models; mostly re-sanding and re-painting. Nothing worth pics yet. Hopefully soon; Hobby Day is coming up fast!

Ah now it worked! tried 2 times and everything was gone! :vmad

Nice stuff guys! Thanks for giving us a look-see.

This is what has been distracting me from my tank and Ma.K.

Scratch built RC glider wing (2 piece for ease of transport). 4 servo, flaps and ailerons. 80" wingspan.
