All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Thanks Luiz, 'smurf and Gerry! I'm hoping to move forward on some of this soon.

Gerry, looks like my workbench. Have fun today!

Nice progress Mark! Them flatcars look real good :good: the Be-6 Madge looks like she's a good sized gal & gonna be nice when done. :drinks

Thanks Ed! Yeah, Madge is a big one, although not as big as the Mariner or Shinmeiwa. I do need to pick up the pace on her, as well as the Space Shuttle, C-46 and a few others. Stay tuned for more!

Thanks Mark, you know my saying "A clean workbench is the sign of no works" so I just stepped outside and put a second coat of Tamiya red on the tiger moths fuse, waiting for it to dry

WoW You guys sure are making the modelin' dust fly, sos to speak

Your progress is impressive Mark. you really did do 6 flat cars! (Im guessin' the 7th in the picture is just my tired ol' eyes, plain' tricks on the old Prop Duster :eek:ldguy :pp )

Swordsman Liking the look of your Tiger Moth

Thanks Propduster! I did have at least two of them already completed to the P/E stage; it was fairly simple getting the remainder to the same stage. Doing all the P/E on both of these trains is gonna be a real bear!

Stay tuned, more to come.

Well, I got the KFir sealed up and went to mask off the Vigi so I could slap on some Gull gray...

These have been on my bench for awhile so trying to get them finished up before starting on my next project. The airfix kit (tropical) is one that I've had for probably 35 years or more and as you can see has suffered from years of being moved and stuffed in boxes so I decided to pull it out and redo it. One of the oldest builds in my collection so it has some sentimental value. The heller kit was given to me by a friend and had been started. Main assembly was done but the cockpit had not been installed. I think the guy who started it was into wargaming and wasn't too worried about the details. Really dislike the Heller kit. Nose is too fat, the the canopy is too big and detail is way oversized. Anyway, just have to finish up some weathering etc. and then they will be on the finished shelf.

Decals for the Heller kit came from a Aeromaster battle of Britain sheet and the Airfix decals came from a Tamiya kit.

:blink Damn Sherman...how do you get any work done?! :notworthy

My work area was getting super cramped and cluttered (not model stuff though, just from paper, mail, etc  ), so I broke down and set up a dedicated desk in the "library", at least it will be the library if I ever finish getting the house set up.

I like the little "desk extension". :good:

Well, I been workin on the mini fleet of wood boats, kinda slowed down. All the little bits and painting takes me longer.

Also, the grandson was over and brought a kit I gave him that I won at the club raffle. A Hobby Boss #82446 1/35 "Defender XD Wolf W.M.I.K. I don't do armor, so this green thing is out of my comfort zone a bit.
He had taken it out of the box and brought it to my house in a shoe box. There is a color marking and painting sheet for two schemes. Anyway - it got started. 6 sprues.

Geeze, I thought ships had a lot of parts. There must have been 55 parts just in the engine and frame. Here's where we got to.

Now, back to the little woody fleet.

That looks like a pretty cool little kit, and I'm not typically into armor myself either. :coolio

My bench yesterday

Ha! I love it! That looks like my workbench all the time! The only difference is that you don't have enough projects on the bench. Keep plugging Sherm!

Looking good EJ! Yeah, some of those 1/35th scale wheeled vehicles have a lot of parts and detail! You've got a fantastic start going there.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Sometimes I just stare at it :rotf
