So on the night of the 7th I was trimming the post I had stuck on the bottom half of a figure I was making for the Patton, I was planning on using part of the post to mount the figure in the tank. I test fitted and it was to long. I trimmed a little bit and test fit again, still to long. As I went to trim the post this time I must not had a good hold on the dude as he snapped loose of the post. Well He more shot off the post struck the desk and came to rest in a partly opened drawer. Torso is fine but his head is missing. Moved things around searched high and low, head is MIA.

I have another head from Verlinden but of course it is not fitting right. Come to think I'm not to happy how the torso is looking in the loader hatch. :hmmm I've got a couple of days to finish this up before hitting the road.

I feel your pain Jeff .... I'm missing a Exhaust manifold that is stalling my Challenger I build ... Same thing Happened to Me ... So this is on the bench now ...

Is tthat the Challenger I tank you need the exhaust manifold for?

Cheers from Peter

I wish it was but ... As it is it is a manifold for a blown 850 HP V8 ... Thanks for the offer though ... :good:

Ah, so it's an actual car part not a model part you need?

Cheers

Would one from a Dodge Charger work? I can send you the one from mine as I won't be using it.

Cheers from Peter

I spent part of the weekend building several new jig tools that will go along with my base plate jig etc. I needed these to mount up my "When Worlds Collide" space ark ship. Decided that the best way to paint it would be to mount it so I could rotate it and easily paint it all in one stroke while not having to handle it.

Sorry folks no photos till this one is done. The build mojo is going well and I don't want to bugger it. Photos are being taken, but no posts till it it finished.

I know, I know this :vmad you but that is how this one is going.. :tomato

Fixin to go get on it ... Whilst cleaning the bench I found my exhaust manifold that was stopping the challenger build ...
