OK, seriously, enjoy. Wish we had something like that here - apparently there is a sort-of ComiCon up in Auckland but I think that's a bi-annual thing and nobody famous (or familiar) ever comes !!

We're staying out on Coronado Island- a real treat, especially for Marc.

Oh I remember Coronado Island! Clambering with a heavy... never mind. The views are wonderful, the surf is great unless you're playing volcano. Have fun!

Not today, but took Grace to her first Drag Race :yipee Went to the Mile High Nationals Friday. Me and Dad had not been in over twenty years and man things had changed.

I did get some good shots of some old slingshot dragsters I'll post soon. I have go to get some more sleep first. Worked all night Thursday and then drove up to Denver for the races. After that I could not sleep that night.

Watching it online right now. I've not been to an NHRA event in probably 10 years. Been hoping to have the money when they come to Charlotte, but just havent been able to swing it so far.

Okay, ready to wade into that sea of nerds and boobs! Retractable 7-foot banner? Check. New light-weight hand-truck? Check. Paper, art tools, cash box, price signs, display tools, etc. etc, etc? CHECK! We feel good and prepped- just got to get the fish water changed and the house is ready for the dogsitters. BTW, that's me minus 20 pounds of chunk- I knuckled under and lost weight to avoid going on hypertension and cholesterol meds. Awyiss!

Getting ready to go to Comicon as well. I have most everything already set to go. My nephew is coming in from Florida to help out my group. Chuck I hope to see you during at least one of those days. I'm bringing enough cash for at least one of your books. I'll by one for my nephew if he wants one too.

Also, members of my group are going to the Strip Club: a Steak Place on Saturday night. You're welcome to join us. And no, it does not have strippers, it's a Steak Place!
