Couple of pics of one of my favourites from +/- 1970... Yep that is an original box complete with stand, Airfix Club application and damage sheet to be returned to 'Haldane Place' !!

Been using this as an Alclad test-bed for a while now, but my wee boy asked if he could have it, so I dropped an old set of Microscale decals on to it - which despite their advanced age, behaved impeccably - and now it's making low passes over his desk in his room... Just like his dad when he was seven :pilot

Hey, if any of you folks out there in MA-land are any good with Photoshop or similar and can do something with any of these pics, then have-at-it !!

This Airfix was one of the builds I enjoyed most when I was a kid - This braught back some good memories :drinks

It's a couple of years old. Not showing anybody the undersides... that part didn't go well :tomato

I need to get me another of those F-80s. I tried to do the one I have as a "Minutemen" aerobatic bird, but a Whole bunch of things went down the Porceline convenience. I still have a fresh set of decals, but now I need a kit and some masking skills for the Red / Silver paint job.
