for an update.... The wife and I are now back to a empty nest.I'm off from work for a short recovery from a minor surgery and the bench has been neglected far too long.
The bottom is done. There are 33 individual decals on it making up the stripes. there are a couple of niggles here and there but what the heck.... its a model and I'm having fun.

Thanks fellas! It's good to be back!!! :yipee
Here's some more in progress pics. this is a straight outta the box build so nothing fancy. I did cut off the molded on wing cannons and replaced them with some hypo needles and the wing tip pitot with a piece of E guitar string and some masking tape for the seat harness.
