Adventures in soldering: The Rat Rod Wrecker

I think that Bob hit it on the head, freakin unbelievable!!

Just amazing work Randy. Only in my wildest dreams could I even come remotely close to that sort of craftsmanship.

Hi Folks,
Thanks Terry :)
MPup, Appreciate the kind words!
Mike, Had the same thought as you will see :D :D
James, Thank you Sir!
Hi Chuck, Thanks for the comments!
As Mike pointed out, this build is moving in a straight hot rod direction! Not much change in the basic concept but hopefully a prettier paint job :D
Here are some pics that I will try and follow. The Rat Rod Wrecker was a 1948 Diamond T truck. Here is a restored one..

This is the first time in about a year that I stuck some wheels on to check the stance and exhaust pipe clearance. These are only for mockup. Trying to make up some myself. Do like the style of these.

Thanks for looking in!

Randy

Randy that's just off the hook! Where did you get those turnbuckles and linkage stuff?

Beautiful , beautiful work Randy , ................
