A6M5 Zero and Ki-61 Tony

Thanks!!
I'm having some doubts about some of the literature about the camo and the white ring around the fuselage "meatball". Some people say that the Mitsubishi Zero'shad no white ring and that the demarcation line between colors went from the trailing wing straight back to the tail cone. That the Nakajima Zero's only had the white ring and the line swooped up to the horizontal stabs. I've seen pictures and illustrations the does't go along with that theorie. For example, I just watched a video of a Zero that was recovered in New Genea, pretty much intact, and it had the white ring and the demarcation line went straight back to the tail. So much for the "experts". Gary S.

Here are some pics that make my point. Gary S.

Go with what you want, I like the white outline one myself.
I get a 60s vibe off that first photos. I think it's the florescent lights in the hanger.
