Do I dare?

I'm still trying to get my new work bench feng su established. I figure best way to do that is dive right in. I know I said I'm going to finish the Carolina Lee first but this has been calling me a will.

Researching this a little I find that several of the Baron's triplanes existed at the same time. Including his factory built Fokker painted red. When I did the Albatros DV years ago I had intended for it to be displayed with a Triplane. Well one or both of these will be it.

I was hunting for that von Richtofen and Brown clip, where the General show up, and sees how Jasta 11 painted it's airplanes.
Manfred says "Does the General believe that a German Officer should hide from his enemies?" or something like that.

This is the Roden kit.

No goodies in this box. I keep thinking about what Ian told us about this kit, not sure I'll put time in it more I think about it but we'll see.

Aviattic came out with a full rap of decals for the Dr1 that was factory painted. I just not sure I want to do the entire thing in decal paper.

These are the decals that came with the Wingnut Wings Albatros. Why they printed this on the same sheet I don't know. But it's for the same aircraft that the red wrap decal covers.

Never know when you need a Spandau.

I've squirted some primer and it felt good.

I'm debating this decal thing, the idea of covering an entire model with decals just doesn't seem right. Guess I could get started with it and if I don't like it pull it off. Don't suppose it's that different than covering a wing with lozenge.

And I've reconsidered building the Roden kit, I'll get another Meng. Don't like the idea of mounting two different kits of the same subject.
