Yea but i am allergic to after market now.....$35 for a 1/32 prop up to 3 months delivery ?

I agree but more so because it is a completed product so I then become co-author. If it was offered in kit form, in other words - gives me a chance to screw it up, I may consider it. Have the wooden prop, decals, metal fittings separate.

I've seen video of the craftsmen working on props. But can you trust it? I'm now reading some idiots don't believe Babe Ruth ever existed...

I just looked through my pictures of Shuttleworth and Hendon and probably one 1 in 5 is actually wood finish and they are all straight grained and definitely not laminates of different woods. Most are just painted grey. I have done my DH9 with straight wood grain but it should be painted green ;-)

Radu stopped production. He had the absolute best PE for 32nd scale BF 109 and IAR 80.

The laminate propeller issue is something I have pondered for a bit. The pre-done props look very nice, but the price is "out there" to the extent that I doubt I would want to pay it. They did have some wire wheels that looked quite nice.
The RB Productions masking kit was something I also pondered. They way that RB went about it though is not going to do a decent job because it is a straight vertical stack and the prop angles away from it, so you end up with way too much feathering. I have some ideas on that, but they are still forming in my head.
Then there are the 4 bladed props. How to do those? Also have a thought, but again the ideas need to be tested and would have to make the tools. IF I come up with a good solution, you guys will be the first to know and if what I have going through my head works, it might be something I could sell on a limited venue at a reasonable price. To you guys I would just cover costs of material and shipping.
Think this could be something that my CNC could make once I figure out how to use it.

We have seen this before where one guy does something artistic like wood grain and then everyone does it and its regarded as quite normal and historically correct.

Sounds like the 'over the top' rusting and Zenethal lighting used on figures and armour over the last 7 or so years.

Don't mention people who draw in every panel line with a pencil though thankfully thats a fad that seems to be dying out now .
