now that I cleared out my head with a few aircraft, I'm back to Armor Builds.

So I went back to my old Sgt Odd Ball and I'm trying my hand at a small base.

I got a piece of wood with the bark still on it and I added some static grass along with some dudes and anti armor devices. I'm not done, but I like the start.

Next was the OLD Monogram Screamin' Mimi I hadn't built this kit since I was 10, (a long time ago  )
So I got it off eBay for pretty cheap, $15.00 but with no instruction. It wasn't hard to figure out.
We know it has tons of errors, but it was a fun kit that brought back lots of memories of those "bedroom battles".

Build straight out of the box, warts and all!

Next was the old Tamiya M551, Yup, old is right, full of mistakes? yup, but it was a easy fun build, I'm gonna try to spruce it up with the Fruli tracks so pretend the kits tracks are not there. LOL

Also built straight out of the box. I added the Verlinden Vietnam Commander.

Then I did the Tamiya Half Track. I don't know much about these vehicles, but the kit was pretty good for it's age.

Straight out of the box, lots of dudes!

Finally I just finished the Tamiya M8 "awaiting orders"

I added the Verlinden add on for this kit, it brought it to life. A smooth build and I can't complain. Even with the inaccurate tracks I think it looks cool.

Thanks for looking! :snoopy

thanks for the kind words!
Ron, those are the figures that came with the kit, I think Monogram put them in with both the Screamin Mimi and the Hedge Hog Sherman. At 1/32 scale, they are pretty big.

ETA: The figures were attached to the sprue in a single piece. talk about basic! LOL

Chris:

Those are all some nice looking Armor pieces there, warts and all. Even if you don't change the warts out, they look good. Nice job.

It is a nice set, being my first resin conversion it was a challenge for me. I used just about 80% of the parts in the set.

Don't for get to show pics!

Thanks to all for the complements! :dude
