2014 Build Review

2014 has been productive but not as much as I would have liked. Seeing the awesome stuff in here, I don't feel I have achieved much but here it comes:

This is still having things added to it but it was done OOB for the campaign
GMC Water Truck

HumVee 1/35

Scratch built Coanda 1910 plane

1/35 vignette - Jeep was for the Normandy campaign

The Repair Truck - loved doing this one

A small WW1 Dio with an Emhar 1/35 Mark IV female tank

This is scratch built 1/1 scale - Rudel's Ritterkreuz with golden leaves, swords and diamonds

And the transformation - this was the actual project finished in 2014

WW1 - whippet - Cecil Sewell VC - the medal is 1/1 scale scratch built.

I hope I'll finish the last one for this year - The Desert Campaign Entry.

Your effort this year in terms of models is great but your biggest and most important thing is the absolutely massive effort with MA.

Being my first year of retirement I had hoped for more but a backlog of non model related projects took away a lot of my bench time, none the less I'm happy with this years group, a number of which were campaign completions here on MA...

It id down. I usually finish about 45-50 models in a year. This is a little more than half my usual production rate. :idonno

Old Dog, you have some incredible works in that collection, quite a bit to be proud of. Here's hoping your second year of retirement is more productive so we can see more of these kinds of beauties.

It's been a slow year for me too. Only 4 completions this year which is less than half my normal production. I have a few that are half done on the shelf of shame so that should set me up good for next year. Happy New Year everyone.
