1/700 USS Entemedor, SS-340 Balao class GUPPY IIa 3D printed Model Kit.

Yeah, War Dept's tend to not be as observant as they should be. My late wife would put her dry cleaning clothes in the wash and all kinds of odd stuff after she had her stroke. That wasn't the hard part. The hard part was trying to catch it before she FUBARed it. Finally got through to her to let me sort it and do the stuff she was having issues with. She would get mad because I was "taking away her independence". Once I got it through her thick head :bash::bash::bang head that it wasn't independence, it was her disability it got easier. There were still things she could do and things she needed to let me set up.

I still miss her, but I don't miss the drama and constant double checking I had to do ALL THE TIME!

Fresh RTV made all the difference on the second go. First castings are done without my signature gray pigment. 4 PUFFS sonar antenna, incase you drop one. This model will be modified to USS Ronquil/USS Tigerfish and one more mold will be made to finish the Cold War submarine project. Never mind the boat.

She's one of the 1/96 Revell CSS Alabama white metal boats. I have a set of the metal parts for her, and I liked her lines.
she's 12 scale feet too short for a 1/350 USRC Roger B. Taney cutter and 18 scale feet short for a 1/350 1799 USS Enterprise schooner.

Now hear this,
"The Gray Ghost of the Florida Coast" is building, and I am well pleased with her. I marked the PUFFS sonar* array mounting points with black marker to get them square. There are tiny holes in the deck for their location. Snorkel, and shears follow. This version is the unloaded, museum version, as one can tell by how high she rides at the waterline. A combat-ready, loaded USS Clamagore would require wet sanding at the waterline. "In God we trust. Everything else we track." The US Navy attack boat mantra.

0940 hrs. this day, 1/700 USS Tigerfish/Ronquil RTV mold is poured and pressurized with the fresh RTV silicon. Extreme measures were implemented against any possibility of contamination. "Ice Station Zebra" is on the Blu-Ray player. It is apparent the submerged scenes of the USS Tigerfish are the USS Nautilus SSN. These are readily available in 1/700 scale.
That is all.
