Yeah, War Dept's tend to not be as observant as they should be. My late wife would put her dry cleaning clothes in the wash and all kinds of odd stuff after she had her stroke. That wasn't the hard part. The hard part was trying to catch it before she FUBARed it. Finally got through to her to let me sort it and do the stuff she was having issues with. She would get mad because I was "taking away her independence". Once I got it through her thick head 
that it wasn't independence, it was her disability it got easier. There were still things she could do and things she needed to let me set up.
I still miss her, but I don't miss the drama and constant double checking I had to do ALL THE TIME!
