She's a 32' Chris Craft triple cockpit Barrelback. I'm not so happy with the windscreen. It doesn't look very 1938-ish. Fuel fillers and exhaust pipes will see this 1/350 scale speedboat Master ready to mold.

This morning I cast the new waterline mold for the 1/350 SPC-HWX 52 and my huge water/fuel tank. Along with some Old (?) Faithful molds. 4 more minutes of 60 psi pressure pot to go!

I never wanted to make a waterline version of the HWX-SPC, and yet, here we are. Kit 126 will include both versions, a 12-foot fishing boat and a Chris Craft Triple cockpit Runabout. (Because I hadn't decided where they belonged when I made the Masters.)

The 1/350 Chris Craft came out swell! I also molded the chubby, cute Chibi-Maru triple cockpit runabout from a previous failed mold. God alone knows why, but I now produce the only one!

I had to look up chris craft as its not a name i have heard. I love those classic wooden deck speed boats . Hows this for a model, 33 inch so a bit bigger than yours

An old buddy of mine married a gal who's father built a Chris Craft from the kit they offered years ago. They even had the spare mahogany plug dowls stored away. Mid engine and I want to say it was like a double cockpit, rumble seat like.

The Barrelback Runabout was configured like that. I think the "Barrelback Racers" had twin cockpits close together with the engine bay astern (in the back of the boat.) A better description can be found than my limited recollections.

It was definitely a mid mounted motor because we had to stop in the dead of night in the middle of Lake Sinclair and lift the cover to do something with the carb. May not have been a double cab, maybe one could go from the back but the bow was completely covered, no bow riders. I remember sitting the back chatting up some gal and no one could hear us.
