1/35 waterline Uboot type II

Railing around the AA gun container position ,
Made a jig for it So it will stay in place when the glue cures.
The railing came out nice ,
still need to add rod-bracing to the vertical posts.

I made one Horseshoe lifebuoys from miliput.... and a rubber mold and cast two
( the rope is added )

Both Sides done.
Think it looks really good....i have to admit these where the :bat hardest part(s) to make..... for some strange reason.
from now on its plain sailing .

All major construction is over :woohoo:
Next to do are the cables that run from the bow over the conning tower to the aft.
 
Yeah I can't imagine why two curved rails with multiple supports would be so hard.... :blink

I'd still be trying to get the second rail curved the same as the first. :drinks

Prep work for the washes.

Black and dark grays over AK chipping fluid..... most of it removed with a brush an a cloth,didn't want to add to much scratching because this supposed to be weatherd by the salt of the sea and walking by the crew.

This is covered with a Matt varnish ,Next weathering step is applying washes .
