The hull is the only thing glued up. Tools, cables, wheels, sprockets and even the track links are loose.

I haven't made a bullet hole in something in a long time, really nice work Tim. Glad to see they are showing some level of deflection. Most times you see them people do them straight in squired up shots.

Went ahead and added the spare tracks permanently to the turret because I already have a gazillion loose pieces to paint. I drilled out the filter's mounting blocks for the bolts that wouldn't be on after they were removed.
I'm not sure whether #02 had the stern launchers. The mid and forward ones can be seen in photos so unless they got knocked off I'm assuming they were there. Regardless they're on now.
I also chose not to add the watertight cover over the turrent ventilator.

Yeah these big kits have detail out the whazzoo. Because of that they end up being sub assembly monsters. Part of why my 251 got set aside for a little bit.

Hey Tim, quick question, what was the brand of the figures you got for the Panzer III that were so bad? I am pondering some figures and some of them are a bit pricey. Don't want to make the same mistake.

Those track links are probably over an inch wide Paddy. It would take a LOT of paint to hide anything on them.

They were no name knock offs from ebay. The SoL commander copy peddled by Benjia is in China. The soldier came from a distributor in the states.

I added the texture to hide the ejection pin marks. I can see there's still a few that need work.

1 and 7/8ths. Not quite 2 inches wide.

OK, thanks Tim! I am looking at a number of figures from Andy's. 3 are kits like the ones I got, the other 3 are quite a bit more expensive and I think resin printed specifically for the 251 kit I am building.

Just an honest question, throwing this out there; Guys, why are you buying knockoffs? The original sculptor loses in that kind a deal and recasters often times sell crap, and you have no recourse.
