Somebody mentioned nylon bushings on another site for the Andy's Tiger kit. That's a brilliant and simple solution.I had the same problem with my 251. I solved it by using some white tack to hold the most prominent wheels on while I worked stuff out. Didn't need to do all of them, just a couple of the outer ones which then kept the rest in line.
Actually, you are missing the center hub on the first road wheel…Here I go down the rabbit hole lalala...read some crews removed the outer front road wheel because it caused problems in mud. The Tiger 1 website says this kit can't be made to show this. What can be missing? I think to myself. View attachment 189518
Looking good Paul.Occasionally while working with it the white tack would come unstuck, but all I did was push it back in place. Once I was ready to glue the retainers in place I had to make sure the white tack residue was all cleaned off, but that was all.
Here you can see the white tack holding the wheels in place.

Edit:
I have the front wheels held in place by some old red rubbery tack that was supposed to be for masking as well. It has gotten real sticky over the years so I have it holding the front wheels on without glue.

I was happy to see the tensioners on the this kit are somewhat adjustable. So, You are building Ursula. Should be interesting.
Yeah, the working tracks are great for getting the nice smooth drape and droop, but they really have to be freely moving. The 251 tracks required a lot of fine file work to get them to work smooth and not kink. The result was worth it as now all I have to do is adjust the tension to get the right drape on the tracks.
Thanks Ian! I'll take anything ya gotNice choice, let me know if you need some more info/ photos.![]()
I'll look for itMy wife gave it to me as an anniversary present a couple of years ago,it builds up very nice, didn't have any issues.I built the whitewash version using the hairspray method,it's here on the site somewhere, and yes it is impressive.
Enjoy your build, will be checking in.
I'll look for it![]()
OK, so the engine deck will come down to the chassis build date so that can be judged by what other features you can match from the photos you have v's the list I provided previously. The manlet will need a clearer photo but can also be identified (possibly) by other features that are recognisable that match the build change list I provided plus these additional ones...Thanks Ian! I'll take anything ya got
The two main things is which engine deck and mantlet.

Further info cannot be determined without other photos and investigation which I can't do tonight as it is now nearly 2am, so I can look for your tomorrow but I don't want to waste my time if others will already be doing this overnight - so Saul needs to let me know what he is going to do so I don't spend precious time on double -up.![]()
