It has it's positive and negatives . Not worth it to me at this time . The risk of major storms with nowhere to go are problematic with the possibility of not having a place to live when you return . Some of the locals are still trying to recover from last year.
 
Chris, the crispness and quality of your masters is getting better and better. I can see the improvements in the details vs your earlier work.

Model Master enamel flat white, upside-down on the cutter parts. The distinctive WPC bow profile is evident.
Painting started on the smaller boats. I made 2 Mk. 2 OTH boats. I don't know why.

The Carbide CNC cutters I wanted arrived, so .2mm drilling began on RB-M mooring and towing bits. .2mm is perfect for installing finer .008" copper wire for finer bit and antenna details. I snapped the brittle bit drilling the after towing bit on the FRC and there was only 1 in the forty-piece assortment I bought. (10 more .2mm X 3.5,mm on the way). It's just about time to work on the kit decals.

Skywaves 1/700 Structure set arrived from Japan and I busied myself with more nautical scenery. The little hotel and house are cool enough, but the 3 bay shop my see use as a firehouse. Now I have a use for those modern firetrucks I copied!

This size cutter is used on PCB's and I'll wager it moves very slowly and precisely in a real CNC machine. My fingers are surely less precise and steady than this.

1/700 USCG Sentinal class WPB, 45' RB-M, Bait class WPSS and Lagoon catamaran decal proof. There is a liitle extra space on the 4X6 decal sheet, so If you wish for a favorite Fast Response Cutter to be added, that is still possible. I sized the stern script to fit the model.
