M3 Lee Lulubelle

if you are using stock brass tube then Rhino is spot on as most sizes have a corresponding internal dia size.
In the UK we use Albion alloys tube and they do sets that fit in each other like a telescopic radio aerial
YEAH!!

I poked around a bit

I have more problem with the outer side than inner.

I didn't drill out the other bogies so I can press forward but...I do want to build an airplane. :plane

Famous last words right?

Well through the covid haze I screwed up. On the Carolina Lee I pinned the swing arms of the road wheels with brass tubes because the attachment point was really weak. My piss poor note keeping told me it as .5 mm tube, it was not, way too small. I thought I just dropped the 1.5 so I drilled out axels and all with 1.5. It's too big and I've hosed up the bogie assemblies. Yeah like when I screw up I screw them all up to be consistant.

As such, I'll table this build, order the Sahara Lee that has fresh bogies and grouser boxes as well as figures (which I already have) and use those parts.
till then...SE.5 or Tripe? :pilot
I actually think the British Tripe is cooler looking than the Hun's 🫢
