    BT-5 exhaust

I have seen at least 2 semi fuzzy pics online of the backside of this tank where there are 2 brackets under the external muffler. Anyone have a good pic of this part? The detail set has nothing for this but it makes sense that the muffler be held on by something. thanks guys

    Italerie/ Zvezda BT-5, 7, kit tracks.

Hi saul. just to be clear do you mean cut the round part of the suspension part off and roll it forward so the idler goes more toward the front? If so, I suppose I should have asked this earlier because the front ends on the second tank are all glued in place, front fenders in place too:ohmy: I...

    Italerie/ Zvezda BT-5, 7, kit tracks.

Hi all. been a while since I've posted here. Sort of got out of modelling, sort of. Now I'm getting motivated to get going again and I have these two kits on the bench together. I want to know if anyone had to remove links in the kit tracks to get them to math out right. They are the link and...

    UM models

"Some of the others up there I have to say turned out very nice though" that's exactly what i mean...about the Russian stuff not as nice as the Asian stuff but...it's ok, just like Oklahoma! I have seen gobs of these kits that are great when done it's just a matter of how much effort going...

    UM models

Hi Pavel. well this thinking was in my efforts to find different kits that are less expensive than Tamiya, etc for the time being. I have nothing against those kits don't get me wrong but sometimes in order to keep going ( and still have resources for paints and other things we all need) it...

    UM models

hi guys thanks for sharing. I think U M stands for Unimodel not for sure though. Can you tell me where any the stateside dealers are who carry their 1/35 kits? I'm not a rivet counter so a kit has to be the worst in the universe for me to give up on them and haven't found one yet that has beaten...

    UM models

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone has built any UM kits and what were they like in so far as detail and build- ability. I have only been able to find 3, 1/35 kits by them. They seem to mainly 1/72.:hmmm Thanks, W.

M-107 Lanyard attaches to breech where?

Hi Peter. back in the 80's I crewed a m110 and if I can remember the lanyard attached to an eye hook on the firing lock almost in the center of the breech block. HTH

    Track set compatability

Hi Folks, A couple questions about a build I am contemplating. I want to do a ISU 152 and have Italerie's kit in mind for this ( or Zvezda's) whichever I can find. I want to do some pe on this and I have heard the kit supplied tracks are pretty bad. I have a set of vinyl tracks from a Trump KV...

    Dry spells

hey Shawn. Yeah I went in there and got a portion of a track run together before something came up that needed my attention and that was about it. but hey, it was something. Last week I was doing some cleaning in there so I moved a build off the bench (for safe keeping)and while I was using the...
