My bench is clear.....Trumpy Martlet is done and dusted, just need to do some pictures.
The thought of having nothing on the go over Christmas does not appeal so i need to start something else.
I am leaning towards a Honda motorcycle i picked up on flea bay a while back with lots of extras. It will give me a break from Aircraft while i wait for WNW to send me a F2b so i can die doing the rigging :)

This a special edition Tamiya kit produced for Tamiya's anniversary in 2010 Its probably the most sophisticated kit they have produced once you add on the detail up packs which include metal spoked Alloy wheels that need to be laced. Individual chain links, metal forks and disc's and a complete metal rivet set.

Has anyone else attempted this model here ?? I have to say i look at this and wonder if its beyond me !! I mean i cant really even see the chain links..

what do the rest of you have planned ?

these are the chain rivets and their rollers that need to be sandwiched with a pair of PE side plates for each one, riveted up and yet the rollers will still need to roll and the links move freely....
Do you think this is even possible ??

I can safely say without even surfing...no, at least they didn't post it. Maybe someone's out there sandbagging on us.

Working on a Avenger, my Sci-Fi entry and hopefully start something armored.

Can't see the photobucket but the description sounds interesting. I was looking at the Harley kit I have and wondered how difficult it would be to have a functional chain in scale.

Holy crap Paddy I know you dont loose as much to the carpet monster as I do but man those links are minute. This will be great to see.

Xmas build - trying to finish 2 planes I have started and not finished yet - Oh and an P47 - My first attempt at an NMF, using an picture of an stripped P47 you once posted to help me figure out the difrent colour pannels ;) :popcorn

Do you have a problem with all photo bucket MP or just that picture ?

Photobucket is a service that is blocked by many employer's firewalls. However, the Modelers' Alliance gallery isn't on that HOSTS list and it works on other sites (hint, hint).

Regards,

That looks about 20 times worse than Fruil tracks! Geeze!! Well you can't say they didn't get really detailed! :geek

Photobucket is blocked by our corp firewall, just haven't been able to come up with a valid business reason to request it unblocked. Somewhere along the way it was deemed a social network. :idonno Of course no google products are blocked, go figure.

That chain looks totally off the hook!

Cheers chuk...think you have me mixed up with someone else ;)
