Hope everyone is safe on the Atlantic side

Hope all our members and everyone else is safe in the Atlantic seaboard of Canada and the States. Power off in a lot of places and wicked winds. Thoughts and prayers all.
James

Seems to have petered out a bit since it got north of the city...I'm a few hours from Saul and although we had some wind, we had very little snow. I had the wood stove going and the generator ready to go, but we never lost power like we usually do way out here...My apologies to the anti-Photobucket league, but can't upload from my iTouch through Flash so...This is what I woke up to but it's pretty much gone now...

That is a gorgeous view Mike. Its 44 at 7:20 am here in Columbia. I hope all the folks up north get a break with this nor'easter, too early in the season for this.

Of course down here if they just mention snow everything shuts down!

I have a love hate relationship with it- i love the colder weather but i HATE climbing under frozen houses to fix busted lines- I have dissconected duct work under some to help warm the crawlspace while making repairs. 'you hear that tapping sound? Thats my boys knocking together!' :yipee NO lol !

Thank you James ,no power or heat since Saturday ,but no damage or injury,so doing okay for now

Thanks guys...it's a bear to maintain, but on the rare occasion I get to sit down on the porch I enjoy it! When the Nor'easters do come though, they hit right up the front porch ;)

Where???
Here the summer it's almost beginning. :D

:fencing

But not yet, the cold still on the neighbourhood :java

I got the feeling it's going to be a long winter.

I feel the effects of Global Warming... wait, that was simply flatulence creeping up my thermal underwear!

My wife has a green thumb, her flowers were still blooming in October!

Then this mess!

OctoberSnow252520026.JPG

No time to build as I shoveled without my snow thrower, still safely tucked BEHIND the riding mower in the tool shed.
:vmad

Removing branches (I was lucky that no trees fell in my property), I then had the enviable job of shoveling the driveway and getting the wars ready to leave...

Get home and am beat and sore...
