Yes, it's the Monogram kit, and the gear is movable. They don't lock very positively, therefore the artful photography!

I haven't been on much, due to a brutal month of May, but I was able to go to the San Diego Model Expo contest. There I got a number of acquisitions, most were purchased, others are raffle prizes.

First, I got this on a raffle at my local club meeting:

With Father's day and the Chattanooga Model Con this weekend I ended up with a few things. Am really trying to refrain from buying kits as I really have enough, but there are a few that will almost always get my $$ if the price, subject, and execution are just right. Mostly I am focusing more on aftermarket upgrade parts and reference materials.

I decided that having built a coup0le of MFH motorcycles I would like to try one of their cars..

Nothing MFH is cheap however my last restoration of a Brough Superior motorcycle has left me with a brand new in its box model of the Brough, surplus so my plan is to ebay it and get 90% of the cost of the car back.

I love their choice of obscure models for production and this is no exception.

This is a 1/12 scale 1973 LeMans winning V12 ,420 bhp, 3000cc ,Matra Simca

Odd to think my 2000cc Audi A3 now produces the same sort of power from 4 cylinders …that’s turbos for you.

This model was released by MFH in April this year and sold out instantly on pre orders however I know a bloke

We have a Japanese guy in the UK who seems to get these things at a considerable savings , I don’t know his tie with the Factory but he supplies at factory prices but with tax and import duty ready paid so savings are about £150 GBP ($200) over usual price.

For fifty cents more delivered, and not having to travel to Hobby Lobby, I got this today from Amazon. Photos will come to explain the term 'booger stick' and hopefully try it!

I knew that as I have the B single seater already in 1/32. It will be getting the digital blue/grey Ukraine camo and markings. I will do the 2 seater in the soft edge blue/grey Ukraine camo. Then I have the Su-25 in the digital greys in Ukraine markings as well.
