I actually think the British Tripe is cooler looking than the Hun's

I hope I can do it justice.

Here's some test shots of painting. Wood grain for the cockpit floor. I'm really not sure what it's supposed to be but I'm making it wood grain.

The wing section was primed, black base shading between the ribs, dazzled in some Nato Brown and a really thin Tamiya OD FX 62. I wonder what a gloss coat would do to the tones.

Maybe a very thin semi-matte overcoat but a full gloss might darken it too much.

I"m doing the old Letterman technique. Got a base of Tamiya Iraqi Sand (I think) and black, burnt umber and raw umber and streaked the oils in lines.

Looks great to me! Citadel sells some awesome washes that i add at the end I really like that help bring out the look...Nuln Oil is a favorite.
