Thanks Jeff ... I almost have all the electronics stuffed inside it's all going to fit.
That's a very good looking & interesting camo job Bill ...
I'll make a video of the Shay when I get it done meantime the Oct 1, Train show is coming Up, so my Module must get some work on it. I bought this old K-line factory building at the last Jefferson show ...
I cut the windows out of it with Dremel .... (it had those silhouette people & I wanted to open Her up for the viewers of the module.
I also painted it red I think it was a flat Krylon and then if you smear a little Dapp and water on with your hands ... it will high light the moter joints then after it dries or as it dries rubbing it will clean the brick.
Now we'll get to the painting ... this incinerator stack is too shiny ...
Not much better after some grimy Black Floquil ... it did add some texture to the painted surface I'll work on it with some dry brushing ...
I added this awning over loading dock & weathered dock and awning I also added some brass stanchions to hold the load ...
Next I pained the roof grimy Black and added some aged concrete the cornice ... starting to look like something now ...

I'm still working on this ... bit ... I used some gun metal on the backside of the roof vents ...
Then my camera doesn't show it but I use some Brandon weathering powders on the dock roof & on the second from the right roof vent hope I can figure out why the camera doesn't show the right colors ... :hmmm
needs lots more work think I'll use some aged concrete on the inside floor ...

Thought i let you know what is going on here
Busy with my swedish diorama, latest addition is a scratch built trailer for my Opel Blitz that will replace the E-100 (that tank is just to big for the dio).
As you can see i am busy painting it and i must cast 2 more wheels for it.
Here is a pic of the diorama as it looks now, next weekend it's a show here so i will pick up some more grass and other things for the groundwork.

Most of it, the sides are from the old Heller Blitz but the bottomplate and chassi are scratch

Well not much on the bench as I've been hurting something awful, but I did splurge on a few more WNW kits and then a friend sold me 2 for less than half price and then I saw someone selling an out of production LVG C.VI and I nabbed it at a not bad price. Now all I have to do is win the lottery and retire and build models on some deserted Caribbean island with a cool rum based drink in hand.

First a little background... Fall '14 I set underway with an 1/72 Academy F-8E build to take part in a MiG killers GB on another site (this may look familiar to those from MBI). This was my first model attempt since 1994. I was overtaken by the excitement of all the available aftermarket and ended up procuring cockpit, gear well, and engine sets from Aries. After getting the cockpit built and starting to modify the fuselage for fitment I ended up splitting the canopy in half. Between the sudden disappointment in myself & getting busy with work I ended up putting everything back in the box...to collect dust on the shelf.
Seeing Ian's gorgeous F-8 take shape got me thinking about my long stalled project. While waiting for the primer on the Jaguar to dry, I decided to go pull the kit off the shelf and take a look. One thing led to another, and before I knew it I had chisel in hand cleaning up around the cockpit. Then fired up the airbrush & shot some white for the intake. Now that I was on a roll, I decided not to stop and keep plucking away. In went the cockpit, intake, gear wells...finishing up with the closing of the fuselage halves. I don't know how long it will be before I pick this one up again, as the Jaguar & Vigi have priority, but it felt good to make some headway in the proper direction with this one.
