not really, This is the first layer. Will scrub it down to rust then the layer the US Army would have painted.

Look at the original, to me, that's what it looks like. OK maybe not this yellow band camo scheme but it looks like there's a top coat over the original.

Haven't had time nor motivation to get to the bench in the last week. Had a really bad dentist appointment, let's just leave it at that. :sick:

so what do y'all think I need to do next?
 
Thanks James, sorry I've had no updates, just have had modeling mojo sucked right out with some dental issues. :sick:
 
First day of Vacation...spent half of it in dentist chair.

I did get motivated and got some work done.

Dark rust wash over the entire thing..
