Yep, I'm a sandbagger...

In a lot of the post WW2 photos you see the kids are always climbing on old tanks and planes , half naked, no shoes, with shards of metal sticking out everywhere, a lot of it rusty - the kids then were a lot tougher than the current lot. :eyeroll:

Well, I offered to trade my Shilka (ZSU-234-V1) and grabbed the box. It was heavy and I realized it was two box tops. Within wasn't just a Shilka but:

  2. DML 3519 ZSU-23-4M complete kit, turret race opened for aftermarket interior.

I know there is a Trumpeter kit coming... Why didn't I even start these models? I can't see anything missing other than decals or masks!

Regards,
Gee Saúl, I thought I was bad about getting all kinds of aftermarket for my kits.

This was from a time that I was sent review samples so I would buy the kits (if I didn't have them) and some of their competition to see how they stacked up. Luckily, I still have them as all the research I sent to Trumpeter was instead used by them to help one hit wonder Hong Model (the Shilka is now under the Zimi Models brand). So, aside from that, one has the modern Meng Models, then the ancient (but not bad) Dragon kits which also appear within Italeri and Zvezda boxes.
