What If Jagpanzer

When I started this kit I quickly figured out that it was a dog in a box.
It is the really early release from dragon of the Jagpanzer IL70. The biggest problem was the upper to lower hull fit ....... it required major surgery.
So with that it was destined to be a what if .........................

Whether or not this scheme could have happened is up for question ....... does it look cool ? I think so .

Ahh man I love the leaf pattern camo. That is really cool it gives me ideas for my walking tank project.

Thanks Man!

Yeah it was. It has been on the back burner for a while, but it will come storming back soon. I think your leaf pattern would be cool on it. Where did you get the leaves?

The camo is unusual and distictive, I like it! Which kit is this, would prefer to miss out on a dog in a box!

Mike I believe it was dragond Imperial release well at any rate it was a older dragon kit.The major issues I had were about an 8th of an inch had to be trimmed the full length of the upper hull on the underside where it mated the lower hull ...... that was the real dog issue...... the drive sprokets were a little wompy just be careful with alignement ....and there were a few small things most of which is expected with older kits ..... overcoming these just makes us better modeleres.
It takes alot for me to call a kit a dog in a box ........ this one deserved it due to the upper lower hull mating issue......... normally I build alot of older eastern european kits , just because I like to torture myself LOL. Actuallt the older eas eur. kits are stuff thats hard to find like the russian fuel tanker I posted ..... like I said overcoming these issues make us better modeleres

Wow,
Looks great for a dog... :ro:
You brought it back to life and made it shine...
Love the camo. How about a how-to on the camo? :hmmm
What did you use to cut the stencil or what??? :idonno :idonno
Thanks in advance.
