I did listen to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band "Will the Circle be Unbroken" while on the road though GA this week. Check it out if you like Bluegrass from the stars like Jr. Huskey, Roy Acuff, Earl Scruggs and Doc Watson.

Doc Watson...

Basically anything that sounds kind of epic lol.

Lindsey Stirling is excellent. I've listened to a few of her pieces and she is quite talented.
My range of music is from good old rock and roll to classical. Not keen on most country or punk or death metal.
Keep em coming guys and gals.

James, I'm surprised...I thought you'd be heavy into Death Metal.

Well, since it's that time of year, here's one of my favorites...

I actually saw the Pouges. Excellent show.

Currently, I am digging a couple of quadraphonic DVD-As (on a 5.1 system)

Dark Side of the Moon

Wish You Were Here

Outstanding as the TDSOTM is the Original Quad Mix by Alan Parsons. The wife and I listened to the whole thing beginning to end With no other distractions and by the end we were in tears. I highly recommend them.

I also like Classically based rock like ELP and Dream Theatre. Tangerine Dream is great to build and paint to.

Love that Boogie-Woogie clip, Mats, thanks for posting that !!

I always have background music on, there's a local station here that plays a lot of old skool Reggae & Ska, which is very relaxing and makes the modelling session very, erm.... mellow :coolio . But I will also listen to Kraftwerk, Moby, OMD, Gary Numan or other electro pop/trance-dance stuff.

Not unknown for me to have Bach, Verdi or Mozart playing in the background somtimes !!

A couple of those sound positively demonic. Not crazy about the death metal, or punk or other types like those. I do love the "Skyrim" tune, that was epic! I play that game and that was intense listening to that. I do love the epic tunes like that one.

My music is all on my Iphone; it's a mix of 70's and 80's rock from Journey, Kansas, Boston, Jethro Tull, Metallica, Phil Collins, Styx, and other bands like them. I just plug my phone into the boombox I have and hit 'play'. The nice thing is that my phone also charges too.

I have a Christmas playlist to add to my phone once I get a cable that will allow the transfer from my PC to my phone.

I was a big fan of both the Pistols and Letterman on NBC, but certainly don't remember that one, thanks Tom. By the way, Sid looks pretty good for being dead. ;)

He certainly does...sounds like he's taken a few bass playing lessons too!

Yep Skyrim is a great game. Sarah and I are both addicted to it lol. I don't even want to know how many hours I've spent playing that thing.

And as a change to all metal, here is some good old swedish songs from the 50s and 60s
